The working principle of the API 602 Forged Steel Globe Valve is to control the flow of fluid by moving the valve disc on the valve seat. The valve disc moves linearly along the center line of the valve seat, changing the distance between the valve disc and the valve seat, thereby changing the cross-sectional area of the flow channel to achieve control and cutoff of the flow. The core working mechanism of the forged steel globe valve is to use the valve disc in the valve body to control the on and off of the fluid. When the valve disc is in the open state, the fluid can pass through the valve body smoothly; when the valve disc is closed, the fluid is cut off. This design makes the forged steel globe valve have a small opening and closing height during the opening and closing process, which is easy to adjust the flow and easy to manufacture and maintain.
Advantage of API 602 Forged Steel Globe Valve
Good sealing performance: Rely on the valve stem to apply torque, so that the valve disc sealing surface and the valve seat sealing surface fit closely to prevent the flow of medium.
Short opening and closing time: The valve disc has a short opening or closing stroke, which is convenient to operate.
Large fluid resistance: The medium channel in the valve body is tortuous, and the resistance when the fluid passes through is large.
