Hot Selling Check Valve Products
API 6D Full Port Swing Check Valve ensures unidirectional flow control in oil, gas, and petrochemical pipelines. Its full-bore design minimizes pressure loss, maximizes flow efficiency, and prevents backflow via a swing disc mechanism.
BS 1868 Swing Check Valve ensures reliable backflow prevention in oil, gas, and chemical pipelines. Compliant with BS 1868 standards, its robust swing disc design guarantees swift closure, minimizing pressure drop and leakage risks.
API 594 Dual Plate Check Valve prevents backflow in oil, gas, and chemical pipelines. Its compact dual-plate design ensures swift closure, minimizing pressure drop and leakage. Ideal for horizontal/vertical installations, lightweight, low-maintenance
Ductile Iron Dual Plate Check Valve ensures reliable backflow prevention in water, oil, and gas pipelines. Its compact dual-plate design enables swift closure, reducing pressure drop and leakage risks. Crafted from sea water corrosion-resistant ductile iron
Tilting Disc Check Valve prevents backflow in oil, gas, and water systems. Its tilting disc design ensures quick closure, reducing pressure drop and water hammer risks. Made from carbon/stainless steel, Withstands high-pressure, high-temperature environments.
What is a Check Valve
The check valve is an important fluid control device, mainly used to prevent the medium from flowing back in the pipeline.
A check valve, also known as a non-return valve, one-way valve, reflux valve or isolation valve, refers to a valve whose opening and closing parts (valve flap) are round and rely on their own weight and medium pressure to produce movement to block the backflow of the medium. Its main function is to allow the fluid to flow in one direction only. When the fluid flows back, the valve flap will automatically close, thereby cutting off the flow path and preventing damage caused by backflow.

What Are the Types of Check Valves
Structural classification of check valves
According to the structure, they can be divided into three types:
1. Lift check valves
It is divided into vertical and horizontal types.
2. Swing check valves
It is divided into single-flap, double-flap and multi-flap types.
3. Butterfly check valves
It is straight-through.

- DRVG silent check valve
- NRVR silent check valve
- SFCV rubber flap check valve
- DDCV double flap check valve

Classification by installation method of check valve
Swing check valve:
The valve disc of the swing check valve is disc-shaped and rotates around the rotating shaft of the valve seat channel. Because the channel inside the valve is streamlined, the flow resistance is smaller than that of the lift check valve. It is suitable for large-diameter occasions with low flow rate and infrequent flow changes.
Lift check valve:
A check valve whose valve disc slides along the vertical center line of the valve body. The lift check valve can only be installed on a horizontal pipe. The upper part of the valve disc and the lower part of the valve cover are processed with guide sleeves. The valve disc guide sleeve can be freely raised and lowered in the valve guide sleeve. When the medium flows downstream, the valve disc is opened by the thrust of the medium.

Disc check valve:
A check valve in which the disc rotates around the pin shaft in the valve seat. The disc check valve has a simple structure and can only be installed on horizontal pipes, and its sealing performance is poor.
Pipeline check valve:
A valve in which the disc slides along the center line of the valve body. The pipeline check valve is a new type of valve. It is small in size, light in weight, and has good processing technology. It is one of the development directions of the check valve. However, the fluid resistance coefficient is slightly larger than that of the swing check valve.
Compression check valve:
This valve is used as a boiler feed water and steam cut-off valve. It has the combined functions of a lift check valve and a stop valve or angle valve. In addition, there are some check valves that are not suitable for pump outlet installation, such as bottom valves, spring-loaded check valves, and Y-type check valves.
Why Choose A Check Valve
The main reasons for choosing a check valve include preventing fluid backflow, protecting equipment and improving system efficiency. The main function of a check valve is to prevent fluid backflow in a pipeline and ensure that the fluid can only flow in one direction. This design can effectively protect the equipment from damage, especially in working environments with high pressure, high temperature or corrosive media. The check valve can ensure that the fluid flows in the designed direction and avoid damage to the equipment due to backflow.
